“Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.”

Saint Alban’s is a welcoming church in the Anglo-Catholic tradition of the Church of England in the heart of Westcliff-on-Sea. Our desire is that people may come to know Jesus Christ, the perfect revelation of God, through our worship, our preaching and our life together as a community.

If you are exploring, we want to help you to find your way to Jesus.   If you already believe we hope that you will be encouraged to grow in your faith.   We want to be able to share the gifts that the Holy Spirit has given the Church through the sacraments, especially the Mass which is normally offered every day in our church.

We are an Inclusive Church which means that we are committed to work towards being a church which celebrates and affirms every person. Above all we are seeking to find the Kingdom of God and his righteousness as we worship and pray and to help build that Kingdom here on earth that others might find God’s love.

Welcome

Our parish is a member of Inclusive Church. This means that we are committed to work towards being a church which celebrates and affirms every person and does not discriminate on grounds of disability, economic power, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, learning disability, mental health, neurodiversity, or sexuality.
